With today’s technology in cell phones and smart phones, it is not enough just to have a website. You also need a mobile landing page so that all these smart phones and cell phones with internet access out there can find your website as well! I own a small retail gift shop and we do a lot of online transactions through our website and it had slumped a little bit about 18 months ago. We were trying to figure out why we were slumping so much online, our internet tracking numbers looked good, our bounce rate was low, our keywords were good. The issue was, we did not account for the number of people migrating from regular personal computers to smart phones and now tablet pc’s. The tablet pc only has a mobile browser so accessing standard websites that don’t have a mobile landing page can be tricky for these users. We now have a mobile page as well. Business is good!
