California Beach Camp

My husband has always had to move around the United States for the purpose of his job. I have never enjoyed moving around as a part of the job, but sometimes we have to do things that we do not want to do for the sake of livelihood. Fortunately we were moving to California this time, where I knew it would be warm and sunny and we would be able to go to the beaches pretty often. It would be a new adventure for our family, and our children were just getting to the age where they would start school. We started checking out Santa Monica schools before we moved to know where to look for houses. We did not want our children going to bad schools, so it was important to get in the district where the good teachers and resources are. We found great schools across the board, though, and we were excited about this new transition in our lives.
